About Our Parish

We have been serving the Catholic Community of the Nashoba Valley since 1905. Father Edmond Derosier, and the entire community welcome you to Saint Anthony of Padua Parish!

In this Year of Faith, let us remember the words of Oscar Romero, “This is what we are about: We plant seeds that one day will grow. We water seeds already planted, knowing that they hold future promise. We lay foundations that will need further development. We provide yeast that produces effects beyond our capabilities.” Make me mindful of the gifts You have seeded in me. Bring them to fruition as I carry out my role. Attune me to the gifts of others so that, together, a garden of grace blossoms from our combined efforts.

The Roman Catholic Parish of St. Anthony of Padua, founded in 1905, is a rural archdiocesan parish located in Shirley, MA.  The parish is a multi-ethnic, socially, culturally, and educationally diverse faith community.

We are excited with the launching of this new website for our parish
